Writing

Content development, authoring articles, business planning, finance.

Writing is fun.

I enjoy writing as much as I enjoy design and art.

The book “When Death Happens” deals with the aftermath of widowhood and the spiritual phenomenon many survivors experience. Each chapter is peppered with brief excerpts taken from those who have experienced incredible coincidences or vivid dreams which are spiritual in nature, but often aren’t recognized by health practicioners or religious faiths. While the book offers practical, day-to-day advice on how to heal after the death of a loved one, it also offers validation to those who are experiencing the unexplained.

Because they evoke emotion, even the simplest illustrations can disarm and open minds to new ideas. Real communication makes people want to  know more.

Someone had to write content for hundreds of retail products, and that lucky person was me.

Actually, it’s fun to write about toys, collectibles, and even industrial products.

Why? Because communication is fun. Especially when it’s effective.

There’s a need for pithy content for new parents, earnest content for organic products, cost saving ideas for commercial applications, technical copy for medical services, and capabilities statements for a catalogs. The list goes on.

I’ve written copy for many types of companies, but all require interviewing subject matter experts, and creating digestible content that is understood by new prospects. I have a lot of fun creating an emotional impression with visual design, then bringing prospects in closer to gain a better understanding through content, whether in print, video, or on the web.
